ODEM Featured in United Nations Report on Blockchain Technology
ZUG, Switzerland – April 11, 2019 – ODEM is pleased to acknowledge its inclusion in a United Nations report entitled Blockchain in Trade Facilitation: Sectoral challenges and examples.
The UN Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business presented the 129-page report this week at the Centre’s 25th session in Geneva. The study, a work in progress, includes a preliminary assessment of “potential challenges and advantages” of blockchain technology and various uses in specific sectors

ODEM leverages blockchain technology to provide a network and marketplace that connects educators, students, and employers directly to provide education and employment opportunities. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, the Platform was officially launched on Feb. 28 at the #SWITCH! Educators Forum in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business is a subsidiary, intergovernmental body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe which serves as a focal point in the United Nations Economic and Social Council for trade facilitation recommendations and electronic business standards. The Centre’s global members are recognized experts from intergovernmental organizations, individual countries’ authorities, and the business community.
